ok. i can't stand not having TV anymore. i get to stare at my powerbook all the time. so... i went to craigslist and looked for cheap TV. i found an AD selling his old 1982 Sony for $25 and he's just in Pasadena. so now .... i have a TV. not having cable at all... i used the rabbit ears to look for channels. monrovia is right by the mountains, a valley if you must... and signal is horrible. even my cellphone hardly gets up to 5 bars and i don't have a landline. anyway... so all i have good are UHF channels, PBS and another one and the rest are spanish, japanese, chinese and whatever....... all the VHFs (2-13) are all snowy no matter where and how i turn the antenna. what's worse? no remote. hahaha....... at least i had candid camera yesterday. hahahaha.

this morning.... i wanted to clean my place, but i have no walis... yung walis lang na pang amerikano meron ako. and it can't seem to clean at all. + pano na yung carpet sa room ko?

Grrrrrr ...... i decided to spend more money. went to sears and bought myself a lightweight vacuum cleaner, a new antenna, a remote control and some other stuff. HAH! i have all VHF and UHF channels now with a remote! HAH! and my carpet and floor is clean! HAH! konti na lang... ok na lungga ko. i need a new area rug, curtains for the bedroom, picture frames where i can put all my patches and a sofa slipcover. yun na lang...

funny how small victories make me FEEL REALLY BIG now!

tomorrow, i am going to have my new cube sa office. need to setup my comp to that new space now. excited na ko.
