design geeks poll survey from howdesign
1. What person, place, object or experience outside of your design work inspires your creativity?
A blank piece of paper. I like it when i erase my pre-conceived ideas or design and start from square 1.
2. When you're designing, what's your favorite song or album to listen to?
Regular days, i listen to jazz. Production work, i can listen to almost anything. But when i am really against the wall and i really need to focus, i listen to beethoven and mozart.
3. What's your favorite typeface?
ITC Officina (both serif and non-serif) and Hoefler text.
4. What's the most essential book for designers?
Whatelse? How Magazine.
5. In 20 words or less, what's the one thing that should never be uttered in a client meeting (by either the designer or the client)?
It CAN NOT BE DONE!
6. What is the best vendor or supplier serving the design profession (could be a printer, paper mill, stock-photo agency, photographer/illustrator, etc.)?
Getty Images/Photodisc
7. What product or brand is most in need of a redesign?
Microsoft. (just kidding)
Anyway, i have some thoughts i wanted to put into writing. But i do not want to write in haste as i am super-dooper busy with work and moonlight projects. I be back. =)
