i groped for some light
so i can see beyond
what moves you.

in the absence of light
you are dark and hiding,
reluctant and cold
just like me.

in those dark moments
that i held your hand
you never held mine
though you knew it was mine.

my heart aches as
i leave this place
of knights and wizards
i named after you.

you will never see me
as you never saw me at all,
here in the dark where i thought
i can touch you.

and i dispel this magic again
one that you cast in my dreary nights,
do not cast it again as
i have strength no more.
